It’s

Diaspora Takes Center Stage
We’ve brought the South Asian diaspora together in our upcoming
issue Winter 2006. We’re featuring short stories from Trinidad,
Morocco and Singapore! Look for it in your mailbox next month. If you
don’t get it by the end of February, let us know at customer_service@kahani.com.
(We’re planning Diaspora part II for a future issue, so send us
your thoughts at editor@kahani.com).
Magic!
From a disappearing coin to a South Asian sci-fi story, the Spring
(May) issue of Kahani continues our tradition of publishing original
short stories written just for us. The theme is Magic! We’ll also
publish the winning entries from our two contests. Look out for a special
feature on mehndi magic!
